James W Quinnette
October 2, 1927 ~ July 14, 2017 (age 89) 89 Years OldJames W. Quinnette, age 89, of Pennsville passed away Friday, July 14th in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William and Margaret Westfall Quinnette. After 45 years of service, Mr. Quinnette retired from the E.I. DuPont Chambers Works as a lab tech in the petroleum laboratory. He was a member of Alloway Twp. Seniors Club, the Pairs and Spares Club and the American Legion Post No. 181 of Penns Grove where he was a past commander. He also was a former member of the Deepwater Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
Mr. Quinnette is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his son, James Quinnette Jr. (Deborah); his daughters, Marilyn Forshey (James) of Newark, DE and Carol Weaver (Jay) of Phoenixville, PA; his stepchildren, Thomas Peterson (Grace) of Hopewell Twp. and Tamara Pierce (Mike) of Fairton; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 21st in Woodside Funeral Home, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp., where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Alloway Twp. Seniors Club, 49 South Greenwich St., Alloway, NJ 08001.
