William "Truck" Treston, age 76, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, March 20th 2024 in Selective Specialty Hospital, Atlantic City, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Helen Krause Treston. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Bill was a supervisor for PSE&G before his retirement. He enjoyed camping, playing the drums, golf, softball and volleyball. Bill also enjoyed watching his granddaughter play sports, listening to music, and going to concerts. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Welsh; his daughter, Kimberly Sutton and husband William of Alloway; and his granddaughter, Morgan Sutton; Bruce Williamson (brother-in-law), Bruce and Mark Williamson (nephews), Ann Meyers (sister-in-law); Robin Reiley (niece), as well as numerous cousins. Predeceased - Rick Whitt (brother-in-law), Elaine Williamson (sister), Brian Williamson (nephew), Craig Meyers (nephew).
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 2nd at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 12:00 noon. Interment will be private.
