William F Nielsen, Sr.

William F. Nielsen, age 85, of Quinton passed away Friday, February 12th in Inspira Medical Center, Elmer.  Born in Baden, PA, he was the son of the late Leo and Sarah Ruby Nielsen. Mr. Nielsen worked in maintenance for Salem County. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. William was a life member of the VFW Post 1795 Bridgeton who enjoyed camping in Lancaster and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. 

William is survived by his daughters, Cindy Nielsen of Quinton, Patty Nielsen of Pennsville, Wendy Davis (Steven) of Alloway and Ammey Kennedy (Ed) of Quinton; brothers, Ken Nielsen (Irma) of TX and Raymond Nielsen (Judy) of AK; niece, Donna Jean of NC; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his son, William F. Nielsen, Jr.; his wives, Judy and Lucille. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 18th in Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove.
