Viola (Dixon) Hill

Viola Hill of Canton went to be with her Lord on August 13th 2023.

Born in Elkton, MD on September 14th 1931 she was the daughter of the late Earl and Marie Loller Dixon.  She was married for 55 years to the late Leon T. Hill, Sr. who was a farmer in Canton.  Viola is survived by her children, Connie Schrier (Warren, Jr.) of Pennsville and Walter E. Hill, Sr. (Ruth) of Canton; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, Viola is predeceased by her son, Leon T. Hill, Jr.  Viola attended Canton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a training union leader.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking, crocheting, sewing and traveling.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 17th 2023 in Canton Baptist Cemetery.
