Vinni LaRue Forte, age 61, of Pennsville, passed away Tuesday, July 4th at the home of his parents, L. Ernie Forte and Doris A. Forte (Kirkpatrick) in Alloway Township.
He loved life and family and was surrounded by them at his death. Vinni, who had many friends and acquaintances, was always friendly and outgoing. He was also known for his athletic abilities; he enjoyed football, wrestling and bodybuilding. Vinni was a member of the Fairwinds Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge F&AM #138 of Woodstown, he was an avid Eagles fan who liked to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, Vinni is survived by his son, Mitchell LaRue Forte of DE; his sister, Kimberly Giova of Alloway; his close companion, Claudia Cooley of Pennsville; nephew, Dominic Giova (Brooke) of Mullica Hill and niece, Alexis Simmermon (Nick) of Woodstown. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Josephine Williams and his maternal grandmother, Edith Kirkpatrick; brother-in-law, Felix Giova; uncle William Kirkpatrick; and aunt Evelyn Schaeffer.
A Viewing will be held Monday evening, July 10th from 6:00-7:30 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) with Services to follow.
Interment will be private.
