Therese Skradzinski Obituary

Therese Skradzinski was called by God on the morning of February 23, 2022.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond A. Skradzinski, her son Raymond C. Skradzinski, her parents Carl and Jeanne Dezur, and her sisters Marie Dezur and Jeanne Dezur Matthews.  She is survived by her daughters Marie Rigby (George) of Alloway and Patricia Snell of Ellensburg Washington, her daughter-in-law Joyce Skradzinski of Alloway, her brother Carl Dezur of Pennsville, grandchildren Raymond S. Skradzinski (Alison) of McKinney Texas, Brian S. Skradzinski (Cherokee) of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Johnny Snell (Katie) of Montana, Mathew Snell (Diedre) of Ellensburg Washington, Molly Snell of Seattle Washington.  Great grandchildren Lacy, Brady, and Jason Snell; Johnny Snell; and Evelyn Jean and Raymond Elliot Skradzinski.  Therese served as the Deputy Surrogate for 15+ years where she made many friends and fond memories.  She will be remembered for her great love of family, faithfulness, and love of animals.  She had a strong sense of family hosting many Sunday dinners and was famously feared for her use of a kitchen broom.  Therese cared for various animals in her lifetime but had an extreme fondness for parakeets (specifically Blue Australian budgerigars) and female Labrador retrievers, many of whom took the name Lady.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 3rd in St. Mary's Church, 25 Oak Street, Salem, NJ 08079.  There will be no viewing before the mass.  Burial will be in the church cemetery
