Steven Woodrow Eller

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Woodrow Eller (A.K.A. Steve), age 62, who departed this life on 11/6/2025 at Vineland Inspira Hospital after an ongoing health battle.

Born on 12/24/1962 at the Salem Memorial Hospital to the parents of Franklin D. Eller, Sr. and Lurene Adele Eller of Quinton, NJ.

Steven graduated from Quinton Elementary School, Salem High School and the Salem County Vo-Tech. He previously worked as an Auto Body Specialist and for Anchor Hocking then later became a caregiver to both of his parents over the years. 

His surviving siblings are Wanda Buckalew (Leonard) of Calabash, NC, Franklin Eller, Jr., and Gregory Eller both of Salem, NJ and Sherri Eller Rook of Murrells Inlet, SC. He is also survived by his niece, Alyssa Buckalew Maher, and nephews Garrett Buckalew, and Tanner Rook in addition to great nephews Koltin, Maddox, Michael & Bennett and great niece, Karsyn. Steven also has several other family members and friends.

Steven is predeceased by his father, Franklin D. Eller, Sr in 2006 and recently by his mother, Lurene Adele Eller in October 2025.

He loved baking, cooking, gardening, caring for his Feral cats, and raising chickens. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, working on cars, roller skating, and hanging out with family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 20th at Woodside Funeral Home, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079(located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until time of service.

His final resting place will be at nearby Eastview Cemetery near his parents Franklin D. Eller, Sr. and Lurene Adele Eller.
