Spencer McCourt, 65, of Quinton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, at his home.
Born in Ridley Park, Pa., he was the son of the late Jerry and Mary-Ann McCourt.
Spencer was a devoted husband, father, and family man who consistently placed the needs of others above his own. Throughout his life, he made sacrifices to ensure his family was cared for, often setting aside his own comfort so that those he loved would never go without. Family gatherings held special meaning for him, serving as a reminder of what he worked so hard to protect.
Spencer was a die hard Philadelphia sports fan and an avid basketball fan who enjoyed both playing and watching the game, finding joy in moments that brought people together.
He is survived by his wife, Wladysawa McCourt; his son, Matthew McCourt; his sister, Judi Scarpinato; and his brothers, Michael McCourt and Jerry McCourt.
Services will be held privately.
