Sondra J. Hassler, age 81, of Elsinboro, passed away Sunday, December 6th in Salem Medical Center.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Hurlbut Bennett. Before retirement, Sondra was employed as a teller for the Salem National Bank and she
was a member of the VFW Post 253 ladies auxiliary for over 40 years. Sondra enjoyed ceramics, crafting, yard work and loved her flowers. She is survived by
her husband, Edward E. Hassler, Sr.; step-children, Deborah and Don McCutcheon, Patty Hassler, Ed Hassler, Jr. and Robin Slade, Tim Hassler, Sr., Kevin and Jackie Hassler, Susan Hassler, 8 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her stepson Jeffrey Hassler.
Sondra is survived by her siblings, Ruth and Jim Abbott, Marilyn Jurgason, Judy Eckstein, Bruce Bennett and William Bennett , as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Lois Coleman, Barbara Zulauf and Neil Bennett.
Services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, December 18th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
