Sara “Sally” Kline

Sara "Sally" Kline, age 93, formerly of Salem passed away Sunday, December 15th 2024 at Merion Gardens, Carneys Point.

Born in Woodbury, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Sparks Ottey.  Before her retirement, Sally was a clerk for the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission; along with her husband, Ike, they had a local plumbing business. She was a past member of the Salem City School Board and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Salem YMCA. Sally enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake with her husband and she was an avid jet skier.  She always dedicated herself to helping others.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Nancy Biddle of Swedesboro and Pamela McEvoy of West Deptford; her son, Robert Kline, Jr. (Joy) of Lewes, DE, and son in law Don Spicer; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert "Ike" Kline; and her daughter, Kathy Spicer.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 20th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
