Ruthann (Tomlinson) Locuson

Ruthann Locuson, age 85, of Pilesgrove, NJ passed away Sunday, January 4th 2026 at her home.

Born in Greenwich, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Naomi Miller Tomlinson.  Ruthann was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking as well as wearing lipstick, brooch pins and bright colors.  She liked taking trips to Lancaster where she enjoyed looking at the Amish clothes lines and eating at Shady Maple. 

Ruthann is survived by her son, Samuel H. Locuson , Jr. (Deborah); her daughter, Terry Butler; her brother, William Tomlinson (Catherine); her sisters, Marie Jones (Lee) and Carole Gourley (Sam); eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, Samuel H. Locuson, Sr. and her daughter, Marie Prouse. 

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 9th 2026 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
