Russell V. Atkinson

Russell V. Atkinson, age 85, of Quinton passed away Tuesday, March 9th at his home. 

Born in Elsinboro, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Naomi Miller Atkinson.  Russell was employed by the E.I. DuPont Co. Chambers Works as a supervisor in the Lead Department.  He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Deepwater Federal Credit Union where he held various positions.  Russell was a member of the Quinton United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Linda Kirkpatrick; sons, Wayne R. Atkinson and children, Kaylin and Kelsey of Claymont, DE and Brian Atkinson and wife, Kim and children, Samantha and Caleb of Pennsville.  Russell is predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Russell's memory may be sent to the Quinton Ambulance Corp., PO Box 257, Quinton, NJ 08072.
