Robert I. Krouse, Sr.

Robert I. Krouse, Sr., age 85, of Salem passed away at his home on Thursday, February 8th 2024.  Born in Swedesboro, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry B. and Amanda Brewer Krouse.  Before his retirement, Robert was an Inspector for the Dept. of Transportation for Trenton, NJ.  He was a member of the Salem Boat Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1966.  Robert enjoyed watching all the Philadelphia teams play.  Robert is survived by his wife, Madelyn Krouse; his sons, Robert I. Krouse, Jr. (Peggy) of Elsinboro and Michael D. Krouse of Salem; his granddaughter, Amanda Bermudez and great grandchild, Laynie; and his nephew, Robert Caldwell (Sharlene) of Pennsville. He is predeceased by his brother, Harry Krouse.

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday,
February 17th at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 11:00 to 12:00 noon.  Family and friends are also invited to the VFW Post #253, 20 Phillip Dr., Salem, NJ 08079 (Elsinboro Twp.) for a luncheon. Burial will be private.
