Robert F. Breslin, Jr.

Robert F. Breslin, Jr., of Quinton, age 75, Passed away peacefully on August 27th, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born in Salem to the late Robert F. Breslin, Sr. & Elizabeth Simpkins Breslin. After graduating from Salem HS - Class of ’63, Bob enlisted in the US Coast Guard with his buddies Bill Sutton, Dave Faulhaber, & the late D.L. Cawman. Following his service, Bob worked at Dupont Chambers Works for 35 years. During which he became a licensed electrician before retiring in 2003. Bob was an avid hunter, boater, and classic car guy. He always looked forward to springtime and getting back to Cape May. He was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church (St. Gabriel Parish), Salem Boating Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, & So. Jersey AACA.

Bob is survived by his wife Susan; sons Robert, III (Dotti), Kenneth (Laurie), Patrick (Lindsay); grandchildren Daniel (Muriel), Andrew (Rhiannon), Kole, Lillian Rose, and one more coming this January. He is predeceased by his aunts Elizabeth Smith & Eleanor Elmer, his in-laws Kenneth & Mae Keen and sister Joyce B. Brown.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM-12:30 PM, Monday, August 31th at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00PM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 25 Oak St., Salem, NJ 08079.  Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Salem Co. Veteran’s Services, 110 Fifth Street, Salem NJ 08079.
