Richard H. Hoy (Dicky) age 80, of Elsinboro passed away on Tuesday, January 23rd in Christiana Medical Center, Newark, Delaware.
Born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Howard and Janet Smith Hoy. Richard drove long distances for PPG, Conoco and locally for B.R. Williams Inc. He enjoyed fishing, boating and loved animals. He also enjoyed music, Richard started his own band which was called "Little Richard and the Alternators." He was a social member of the VFW Post 253. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Haynes of Elsinboro; his son, Brett Hoy of Elsinboro; his sisters, Pamela Stewart, Linda Failor (Donald) of Carlisle, PA, Beth Ann Hoy of Elsinboro and Molly Hart (Larry) of Woodstown; grandchildren, Alyssa Williams (Tim), Brandon Hoy (fiancee, Cassie) and Cole Rash (Jamie); great grandchildren, Colt Williams and Layla Rash; and many loving nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of Richard's life on Saturday, February 10th at 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 253 in Elsinboro.
