Richard F. Keen, (Dick) age 89, of Pennsville passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his home.
Born in Bridgeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred Mills Keen, he was raised in Greenwich and attended Bridgeton High School. Before his retirement, Richard worked for E.I. DuPont Chambers Works for 34 years as a Consultant in Logistics. He was a proud US Marine Corp. Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Richard loved to ride motorcycles and was president of the Retreads Motorcycle Group and a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Group. He and his wife Mary traveled the United States of America on motorcycle visiting every state except Hawaii. After his retirement Richard and Mary moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for nearly 25 years, where they enjoyed hosting family and friends who visited them. “Poppy” as he was affectionately known, loved to spend time on the beach with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he was always willing to help with any projects, give advice, talk about his travels, or just laugh as he listened to their stories.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, the former Mary Garrison; his son, Richard Keen, Jr. (Kathleen) of Alloway; his grandchildren, Jena Keen-Thomas (Mike) and Joshua Keen (Callie); and his great grandchildren, Monroe, Nolan, Abigail and Millie. He is predeceased by his brother, Kenneth A. Keen, Jr.
