Richard Wood

Richard Wood, age 81, from Lower Alloways Creek passed away Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at his home.

Born in Bridgeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Carl and Anna Snihur Wood.  He was a farmer who enjoyed hunting. Richard is survived by his wife, the former Florence Baker; his son, Kenneth Wood (Arlene) of LAC; his daughter, Denise Girtain (Eddie) of LAC; his grandchildren, Tyler Girtain (Mckayla), Megan Girtain and Kyle Girtain.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 3rd 2025,  at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 till time of service. Interment will be private.

Donations in Richard's memory may be sent to the Salem County Humane Society, 214 Game Creek Rd., Penns Grove, NJ 08069 or to the donor's choice.
