Richard E. Bradway, age 93, formerly of Lower Alloway's Creek passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 9th at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland, NJ.
Born in Salem, NJ, he is the son of the late Wallace and Hazel Finlaw Bradway. Richard was employed by Owens Illinois of Bridgeton as a batch house supervisor for 33 years. After his retirement, Richard worked in the warehouse at Dare's Feed Store where he was known for the rabbit hutches that he built. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, gardening, traveling and watching the Phillies. Richard's favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Marcia Pollock (Mike) of Upper Deerfield, Karen Sickler (Elwood) of Upper Deerfield and Tracy Meehan (Stephen) of Upper Deerfield, his daughter-in-law, Jackie Bradway of Wenonah, stepsons Roland Warfle (Beth) of Carney’s Point and Jeff Warfle (Kathy) of Peoria Arizona, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; as well as special nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by his wife, Shirley Bradway; his sons, Richard G. Bradway and David L. Bradway; his brother, Wallace Bradway and his sister, Doris.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 13th 2025, at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ, 08079) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, 719 Route 45, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
