Rebecca Haddow (nee Smith) Parker, born on February 12, 1980, in Marlton, NJ, went home to be with her Lord on July 28, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 45.
Becca was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She treasured her many friendships, but her deepest love was for her Lord and her family. She is survived by her husband Matt; her four daughters, Emilie, Caroline, Charlotte, and Vivien; her parents, Dave and Miriam Smith; her sister Julie (Paul) Mehaffey; her brother Robert (Kristin) Smith; and her many nieces and nephews.
Rebecca graduated from Cumberland Christian School, Vineland, NJ, and earned a degree in elementary education from Philadelphia College of Bible. She taught at Bridgeton Christian School, leaving to raise her family. Seeking a more sustainable and healthy way of life, Rebecca and Matt started Brook Bound Farm, raising pesticide-free vegetables and pastured meats. Becca was gifted in drawing and painting. She loved reading her Bible with a cup of coffee in her hand. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, homeschooling her girls, and building a life with Matt.
A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Georgetown Rd, Carneys Point, NJ on Tuesday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m.
