Mary Anne Simpkins

Mary Anne Simpkins, age 69 of Salem, NJ passed away on Sunday December 15, 2019 after a short courageous fight against pancreatic cancer. 

She was born to the late Sam & Mary Jeker on October 25, 1950.  Mary Anne was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing School and had a life-long career as an RN.  She worked hard to play hard! She loved to shop,  travel, work in her beautiful garden and she could often be found with a book on the beach.

 Mary Anne is survived by her husband Norman Simpkins, two children, Maggie Simpkins, Scott Simpkins and his spouse and 5 AMAZING grandchildren: Bella, Benjamin, River, Kellan and Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Peggy Nicolosi, brother and sister-in-law Joe and Beth Jeker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 PM, Friday, December 20th in St. Mary's Church, 25 Oak Street, Salem.  Friends may call at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem from 1:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the Mass.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
