Mark Roberts Obituary

Mark Lewis Roberts, age 52, passed away Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at his home in Alloway, surrounded by his family.

Born in Salem, he is the son of Marvin and Sandra Hand Roberts. Mark proudly served in the United States Army from 1992 - 2000 serving as a CPL stationed in Fort Jackson, Fort Riley and Korea, where he specialized as a generator mechanic. He was a 1991 graduate of Woodstown High School and held an Associates Degree from Salem Community College, along with many certifications including electrical and HVAC. He was employed as an operator for Chemours (E.I. DuPont Chambers Works), where he met many friends, who became his work family. Mark was a very upbeat, positive person whose generosity was endless. He had a love for animals, especially furry, cuddly kind. He enjoyed traveling and adventures with friends and family. He was known by many names given lovingly by his friends, Marky Mark, Rob Dog, and Rocket Man. Mark was a real music enthusiast who loved live concerts, with his all time favorite band being KISS. Most of all, Mark enjoyed spending time with his son Ben; fishing, miniature Golf, movies and dinners were always a highlight of their weekend.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Benjamin Roberts; sisters, Kerry Roberts Layman (Donald) and Kelly Roberts Fordyce (Darryl); nieces and nephews, Jacob, Jenna, Gavin and Julia; and great nephew, Noah.

Services will be Private.
