Marilyn Jones, age 90, of Pennsville, formerly of Elsinboro passed away Monday, February 5th at home. Born in Bridgeton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh and Calanthe Glover Doyle. Marilyn worked on the Williamsburg, the Presidential Yacht of President Harry Truman, where she met her husband, Eddie. After that, she was a homemaker who owned and operated a Hotdog Truck for many years at the Nuclear Plant in Lower Alloways Creek. She enjoyed sewing Christmas ornaments and traveling extensively with her husband. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hasher of Pennsville. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Eddie C. Jones; and her brothers, Gerald Caldwell and Ronald Caldwell.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 10th at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp., NJ 08079.
