Marie Johnson

Marie Johnson, age 81, of Pennsville, NJ passed away Monday, April 14th 2025 at Inspira Medical Center, Mannington, NJ. 

Born in Penns Grove, NJ, she is the daughter of the late William Arthur and Anna Mae Holton Herz.  Before her retirement, Marie was a purchasing agent for AstraZeneca in New Castle, DE.  Marie liked to shop and she enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandkids.  She is survived by her sons, Todd Johnson of Pennsville and Jay Johnson (Haley McDaniel) of Covington, Louisiana; her brothers, Bob Herz (Loretta) of Pennsville and Tom Herz (Mary) of Pennsville; her sisters, Shirley Coneys (Tom) of Florida and Mary Jones of Lewis, DE; six grandchildren, Matthew, Dana, Jason, Brett, Sophia and Jessica.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 10th 2025 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where friends may visit from 10:00 to time of service.  Burial will be private.
