Marianne Weatherbee

Marianne Weatherbee, age 73, of Mannington, NJ passed away Sunday, November 30th 2025 at Christiana Medical Center, Newark, DE. 
 

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Earl Jr. and Ann H. Moore.  Marianne enjoyed vacationing and Nascar and she dearly loved her cats.

In June 1972 , Marianne began her working career at the Corporate Headquarters of Mannington Mills Inc., in Salem, New Jersey . Starting as an Associate in Accounts Payable, Marianne was quickly recognized as a team player due to her willingness to accept additional job responsibilities and her ability to complete assignments with accuracy and timelines.

Throughout her forty-two years of service at Mannington, Marianne held numerous job positions in the Corporate Treasury area , ascending to the rank of Treasury Operations Manager. In addition, Marianne became the liaison for coordinating the Mannington Family personal financial matters, until her retirement in August 2014.
In the eyes of the Mannington Family, Marianne was considered one of its exceptional and outstanding associates.

Marianne is survived by her sister, Barbara J. Moore of Mannington; her brothers, Earl W. Moore (Ellen) of Pitman and Robert W. Moore of Mannington; her close friend and cousin, Janel Turner-Warren of Berlin, MD; her niece, Melissa Evans (Bob) of Chesterfield, NJ; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Marianne is predeceased by her beloved husband, Mark who she missed dearly. 

Graveside Services were held at Lawnside Cemetery on December 5th 2025.
