Karin Jean (Thompson) Evans

Karin Jean Evans, age 64, of Alloway, NJ passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025. 

Born in Elmer, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Jean Horner Thompson.  Karin was a self-employed beautician.  She enjoyed boating, camping, beach combing, car shows and Karin was an avid gardener who grew everything.  Karin was known as mom, godmother and Miss Karin by many young ones over the years. 

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Evans; her sons, Christopher Evans of Alloway and Daniel G. Evans of Alloway; brothers, David Thompson (Diane) of Alloway and Steven Thompson (Helen) of Alloway; and two grandchildren.  Karin is predeceased by her son, Evan Evans. 

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 20th 2025 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private. Contributions in Karin's memory may be sent to the Alloway Twp. Fire Department, PO Box 875, Alloway, NJ 08001.
