John Patrick Bradway, 54 of Quinton, NJ, left to be with the lord on Monday, April 4,2022.
“JP” was recently retired from the Lower Alloways Creek Police Department and the Sheriff‘s Department where he served the public for 27 years. He is survived by his wife Jeana, of 25 years, his two daughters, Lindsey Ann, and Bridget Terese, and his four legged buddy, Reed; his siblings, Terese Rodgers (Jim), Matthew Bradway and Jeannette Bradway-Card (Daryl); his sister-in-law, Cindy Hatfield(Michael), his stepfather, John Mint; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his brother, Leroy Bradway Jr; father, Leroy H. Bradway, his stepmother, Georgia Bradway; and mother, Susan Mint. John loved helping friends and others in the community as a dedicated police officer and peer. John, also known as “Bull ”, was always good at giving advice and was well known for his humor. John, an avid bowhunter and he spent his spare time teaching and practicing archery with his girls. He enjoyed relaxing and tinkering with a piece of wood or anything he could get his hands on. John was a wonderful man who will forever be missed by many.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 14th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.)
Interment will be private.
A reception will be held at the Salem County Sportsman Club, 273 Wiley Rd., Carneys Point, NJ 08069 immediately following.
