Obituary

John "Johnny" Lewis Beaver, Jr., age 73 of Pennsville, NJ, passed away Sunday, July 23rd at his home.

Born in Hickory NC; he was predeceased by his father John L. Beaver, Sr, mother Edith Earline Beaver Olsen, step-father Earl Olsen, and sisters Judy Beaver Dilks and Linda Beaver Vreeland.

John did a small stint in the Air Force following graduation in 1968. He subsequently retired after later working at Anchor Hocking and then US Foods.  He previously also delivered papers in the community. He enjoyed sports, casinos, bingo, and thrifting at flea markets. He was an avid sports fan and sports memorabilia collector. He loved a good baseball game, especially the Phillies!

He is survived by his sisters Tammy Beaver Dolbow (Wade) of Colorado and Patty Davis of North Carolina, nieces Andrea Killian Mullen (Chris) of Quinton, NJ, Tina Killian Almond (David) of Elsinboro, NJ, Paula Rhyne of Hickory, NC, nephews Jeffrey Stewart of Pennsville, NJ and Chad Huffman of Hickory, NC, son John Lewis Beaver, III of Charleston, SC (Michelle) and grandsons Reilly Beaver, Colby Beaver, and Avery Beaver.


No services will be held. The family will honor him privately.
