John J. Plevak, Jr.

John J. Plevak, Jr., age 73, of Alloway, NJ passed away Friday, December 12th at Inspira Medical Center, Mannington, NJ. 

Born in Mannington, he was the son of the late John J. Plevak, Sr. and Bernadine "Sally" Hill Plevak.  Before his retirement, John Worked in the shipping department for Mannington Mills, Inc.  He was a US Army Veteran.  John was a member of the Alloway Twps. Veterans Association.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting for arrowheads, bird watching, music and camping. 

John is survived by his son, Joel Plevak (Karyn) of PA; his daughters, Melinda Fox of Quakertown, PA and Kerri Plevak of Newfield, NJ; his brother, Michael Plevak (Judi) of Alloway and his sister, Susan Ackmann (Tom) of Fort Wayne IN; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Melanie, Madison, JT and Brooke. John is also survived by Karin Murphy (Edwin) and their children, Cameron, Cora and Georgia and Erin Murphy and her daughter, Lyla, all who had a special place in his heart.  He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Amber Marie. 

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.
