James Vanaman, Sr. Obituary

James Paul Vanaman, Sr., passed Monday, March 14th in Salem Medical Center, Mannington.

Born in Harmersville, NJ, he was the son of the late Norman W. and Christine Sheppard Vanaman. James was a long time Alloway resident who was a member of the New Jersey National Guard. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked in many types of construction trades. James is survived by his wife, the former, Elizabeth Hunt; his children, Elizabeth Erlenbach, James P. Vanaman, Jr. (Cathy), Leslie Vanaman (Bridget); sisters, Kathleen Coad (Sheldon) and Linda Scott; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
