Herbert J. Hernandez

Herbert J. Hernandez, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 9th 2020. 

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Gonzalo and Margarita Lorenzo Hernandez.  Before his retirement, Mr. Hernandez worked for Salem Community College as a custodian.  During his lifetime he had the opportunity to do stage and movie acting.  Herbert enjoyed football, baseball, singing and he loved cats and dogs.  He is survived by his family, Judy Rankin Bradway (John) and Lynn Berry (Bill); and his niece, Jackson Bradway.  Herbert is predeceased by his wife, Joni Rankin; and sister-in-law, Janet Rankin. 
 

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 12thin Canton Baptist Cemetery.  Contributions in Mr. Hernandez's memory may be made to Red Oak Hospice, 154 Sunny Slope Drive, Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or  to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Dr., Wilmington, DE 19804.
