Helen Laing

Helen Laing, age 89, of Quinton, passed away Friday, February 2nd in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Born in Cedarville she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rose Moncrief Layton. Before her retirement, Mrs. Laing was employed by Price Labels in Bridgeton and later she was an aide for the Quinton School. Helen was a volunteer at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County where she also attended the Senior Circle. Helen was a NASCAR fan, an avid card player and she enjoyed shopping. Helen is survived by son, Charles Lupton of Newport, NJ; her daughter, Ruth Ann Jacquet (Adrian) of Millville; sister, Dorothy Keen of Millville; grandchildren, Dawn Bowen, Adrian Jacquet, Charles Jacquet and Michael Jacquet; and 13 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Jesse Laing.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 8th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
