Geraldine Crouse Obituary

On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Geraldine B. Crouse, "Gerry", loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died at the Cumberland Manor, in Bridgeton, NJ, at the age of 91. 

She is survived by her four children, Stephen Crouse, Salem, NJ, Luella Vengenock (Edward, decd), Salem, NJ, Laurie Brickham, Elizabeth City, NC, Lisa Dalton (Joe), Sanford, FL, her grandchildren, Victoria Galasso (Michael), Scott Vengenock (Megan), Gregory Brickham (Patty), Kelsey Gray (Josh),Tucker Harris, Spencer Harris, six great grandchildren, Molly, Morgan, Brayden, Ian, Harper and Charlie.  Geraldine was predeceased by her mother and father, Luella and James Brown, husband, Ivan H. Crouse, and her four siblings, James, Betty, Carolyn, and Bobby.  During her career, she worked as a bookkeeper for Holiday Inn, two Captain George's Restaurants, an insurance company, and a school district.  Gerry belonged to many organizations, including the Salem Women's Club,working tirelessly to organize their yearly antique show, multiple bridge clubs, Westminster By the Sea Presbyterian Women's Group, Hampton Roads Genealogy Club, former member of the Salem City Board of Education and a women's bowling league.  Geraldine was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing solitaire cards. 

Private services will be held at a future date.
