Francis “Pete” Poole

Francis (Pete) Poole, age 80, of New Castle, Delaware passed away Saturday, March 4th 2023 in Christiana Medical Center, Newark, DE. Born in Salem, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Russell and Mary Stiles Poole.  Pete was a US Army Veteran and a member of the National Guard.  Pete retired from DuPont Chambers Works where he was a master mechanic.  He was a member and past master of the Excelsior Lodge #54 Free & Accepted Masons, Penns Grove, NJ and a member of the NRA. Pete enjoyed cars, fishing and traveling, especially vacationing with his family.  He is survived by his wife, Hannah Poole; his son, Robert Poole (Maureen) of Mannington; his daughters, Cheryl Musgrove (Pete) of Monroe Twp. and Deborah Pennington (Steve) of Pennsville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
