Frances (Hackett) Sims

Frances Hackett Sims of Quinton, NJ passed away May 6th, 2026 at Mullica Gardens Assisted Living.

Born in Mannington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Olive Whitesell Hackett.  Frances had many jobs throughout her life but raising her grandson, Walter J. Stewart was her favorite.  She was a volunteer for numerous organizations with Quinton Fire Company being her favorite.  Frances was loved by all, being known as Mom #2 by many. 

She is survived by her daughter, Marsha S. Klessel (Mike); her grandson, Walter J. Stewart (Lisa); great grandchildren, Ashley Romero (Jeremy), Megan Stewart, Anna and Arthur Johnston; and one great great grandson, Elias Romero.  Frances is predeceased by her husband, John Albert Sims; her daughter, Joan M. Pancoast; and her sisters, Miriam Bloemer and Doris Simpkins.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 13th 2026 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may call after 10:00 AM.  Interment will be private.
