Edward J. Peterson, age 69, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late John and Violet Rhubart Peterson. He was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1974, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Glassboro State College, an Associates Degree in Drafting from Salem Community College, and an Engineering Degree from Drexel University. Ed worked for many companies over the years, taking him around the world. He started and ran his own small international consulting company during the 1990’s. He enjoyed motorcycles, skiing, and rock climbing.
Ed is survived by his brothers, Gary Peterson of Clayton, Oklahoma, and Lee Peterson (Angie) of Lower Alloways Creek; his sister, Joanne Peterson of Elsinboro; nieces Melissa Carlson (Damian) of Elsinboro, Colleen Drumheiser of Blackwood, and Emily Peterson of North Jersey; and great-nephews Aidan and Eric Carlson of Elsinboro.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the Hancocks Bridge United Methodist Church Cemetery, Harmersville, NJ.
