Edna Dickson, age 74, of Quinton, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2022.
Born in Waynesville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Bolden and Elsie Miller Hargrove. Edna worked as a waitress / hostess for over 35 years at Bosco's Diner in Quinton, now the Diamond Grill. She loved drinking coffee, doing word search books, diamond art, NCIS and playing Yahtzee. Edna bowled in a league at Wood Lanes in Pilesgrove bowling in both the Salem and Pennsville alleys. She is survived by her brothers, Willie, Tommy and Arthur, her sisters, Judy, Mary and Linda; step-son, James R. Dickson; and daughter, Melissa Diaz; granddaughters, Brandiann Dickson and Jacqueline Ainsworth, as well as five younger grandchildren. Edna was predeceased by her husband, James Dickson; her son, Edward J. Kugler; brothers, Jimmy D. Hargrove, Bobby Hargrove and Danny Sutton; sisters, Dottie; stepsisters, Edith, Edna, Nelly; and stepbrother, Lonnie B.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 7th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Salem, NJ. Contributions in Edna's memory may be sent to the Quinton Volunteer Ambulance Squad, P.O. Box 257, Quinton, NJ 08072.
