Eddie C. Jones

Eddie C. Jones, age 81, of Salem passed away March 4th in Christiana Medical Center, Newark DE.
 

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Bessie Vanaman Jones also of Salem. Mr. Jones was a Teamster out of Local 676 for 34 years.  He also worked for Conti Construction for eight years until retiring in 2003.  Mr. Jones was a member of the Masonic Lodge #138 in Woodstown and a lifetime member of the Auctioneers Society of NJ. Eddie enjoyed traveling with his wife and working in the yard. Eddie is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn Caldwell of 49 years and a step-daughter, Deborah Hasher of Pennsville; and several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 13th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell.
