Dorothy Rivell, age 89, formerly of Quinton, passed away Friday, January 10th in Merion Gardens, Carneys Point.
Dorothy of Hancock's Bridge, was the daughter of the late Elwell and Bessie Dare Sanderlin. Dorothy was a homemaker and a long time volunteer at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Weathers (Mike) of Savannah, GA and Ann Smick (Brian) of Stuart, FL; sister, Rotha Plummer of LAC; grandchildren, Gregg Rivell (Robin), Brad Rivell (Bevin), Lindsay West (Rich), Lauren Spring (Stephen), Doug Weathers, Eric Barbera (Natalie) and Kenny Barbera (Arushi);nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis Rivell; and son, Steve Rivell
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, January 17th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd. Rt. 49 Quinton Twp. where friends may call from 11:30 to 12:00 noon. Interment will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 18th in Salem County Veteran's Cemetery, Pilesgrove. Donations may be made to the Quinton Ambulance Corp., PO Box 257, Quinton, NJ 08072.
