Dorothy (Hymer) George

Dorothy George, age 89, of Pennsville, NJ passed away Saturday, July 4th 2026 at Inspira Medical Center, Mannington, NJ.

Born in Quinton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Anna Van Note Hymer.  Before her retirement, Dorothy was a packer for Anchor Hocking Glass in Salem, NJ.  When she was younger Dorothy worked on a farm taking care of the cows and chickens and there was one cow that would always kick her. Dorothy was a born again Christain who accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior. 

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughter, Heather Walker and her son,Clyde Land.  She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, who she was married to for 50 years; her son, Joe Land and her daughter, Diane Land; sister, Verna Northam and brother, Lou Hymer.

Services will be private.
