Dolores "Dolly" Smick Hunt Hutchinson, age 89, formerly of Quinton, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 in Hancocks Bridge, NJ.
Born in Camden, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Leonard Smick, Sr. and Helen Long Smick. Dolly was a nurse who worked for the Memorial Hospital of Salem County retiring from the Salem County Nursing Home in Mannington. She was a member of the Quinton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Quinton Republican Club and the Jaycees. Dolly enjoyed knitting, her ladies card club, traveling and she especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Karla Hunt Hall of Pilesgrove and Kimberly Pankok and husband, PJ of Quinton; her daughter-in-law, Terry Hunt; sister-in-law, Miriam Jones; sisters, Diane Joyce Smick Powell (Henry) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sharon Lynn Smick Neander of Inverness, FL; 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dolly is predeceased by her (1st) husband, James Raymond Hunt, 2nd and her (2nd) husband, Walter Huchinson; her son, James Raymond, 3rd; infant sons, Jeffrey and Robert Hunt; great grandson, Colton Catalano and her sister, Jane Sunderland.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 24th 2024 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd. Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
