Obituary

Dennis S. Heacock, age 74, of Salem, passed away Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 in Cumberland Manor.

Born in Detroit, Michigan he was the son of the late Seth and Virginia Davis Heacock. Mr. Heacock was an U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He was an auto mechanic for IMM's Body Repair in Deshler, Ohio. Dennis was a Provost Marshall of the Amvets and a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and going to baseball games. Dennis is survived by his sons, William Heacock (Jennifer) of Ohio, Thomas Heacock (Amy) of Ohio, Kenneth Heacock (Lynne) of Salem and Johnathon Heacock (Jamie) of Ohio; his daughter, Melinda Lawrence (Alan) of Ohio; brothers, Timothy Heacock (Colleen) of Michigan and Shawn Heacock (Judine) of Michigan; sisters, Nora Walsh of Michigan and Kaylene Scott (Bruce) of Michigan; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one bonus Grandchild.  

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 8th in the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, 719 Route 45, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
