Deborah L Bacon (Mastrangelo), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on September 21st 2025.
Born to Franklin and Aldona Gray from Salem, New Jersey on December 2nd, 1954. Debbie was adopted at the age of 4 by Ronald and Lenora Mastrangelo (Rhea). She graduated from St. James High School in 1972 and began working in her mother’s salon, ‘Lenora’s Beauty Shop’. She loved to travel, relax in the sun, and a long-time fan of Lionel Richie.
Debbie is predeceased by her daughter, Francesca LaSpada, her parents, Ronald and Lenora Mastrangelo and her soulmate, Robert W. Bacon. She is survived by her children, Ronda LaSpada-Wilkins (Omar), and Frank A. LaSpada. Debbie has four grandchildren, Whitney Wilkins (Will), Jayden Wilkins, Anthony LaSpada, Nicholas LaSpada and a great granddaughter, Italee Deltus. She is also survived by two brothers, Frank Gray (Diane) of North Carolina and Chris Depew (Lisa) of Quakertown. Debbie will be remembered for her volunteer work for the Salem Fire Department Canteen 6, her giving and helpful spirit, her words of wisdom, the unconditional love she poured into her family, her charm and wit, and her beautiful green eyes. The family will forever miss her homemade Christmas cookies and the absolute wonder of her.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 26th 2025 at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem Quinton Rd., Salem, NJ 08072 (located in Quinton Twp.) where family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
