David Allen Williams

David Allen Williams, 76, of Pittsgrove Township, New Jersey, passed away at home on May 26, 2026 after a brief illness. 

Born on August 16, 1949 in Knoxville Tennessee to the late Waunita and Bruce Williams, David was a much-loved father, brother, uncle, and friend. The family moved to Salem County when David was young. David attended Alloway Elementary School and then graduated from Woodstown High School in 1967. David attended Western Carolina University and later spent time in Cullowhee, North Carolina operating a greenhouse. He worked in Blue Bell Pennsylvania at an apartment complex and raised his sons there. Upon retirement, he moved to Pittsgrove New Jersey with his brother Bruce where he enjoyed helping with the landscaping and lawn mowing. David enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. He will be remembered for his smile and dry humor.

David is survived by his sons, David (Casey) and Samuel (Juliana), grandson Adam, brother Bruce (Ruth), sister Lynn Urion (Wayne) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Claire and brother in-law Gary Remster and his brother Keith Williams and sister-in-law Pam.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or plant a tree in his memory!
