Cindy S Nielsen, 65, of Quinton, passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born October 25, 1959 in Bridgeton, NJ to Lucille (Foulks) and William F. Nielsen, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother William F Nielsen Jr. and her long term domestic partner Michaele Miller.
Survivors include her sisters Patty Nielsen of Pennsville, Wendy Davis (and husband Steve) of Alloway and Ammey Kennedy (and husband Edward) of Quinton. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She worked as a Phlebotomist at Inspira Hospital, Elmer. She had also been previously employed at the Salem Memorial Hospital, Mannington. She enjoyed her time with her work family, where she was known for working hard but always with a smile on her face. She was also a former CPR Instructor and taught Phlebotomy classes at Rowan University of South Jersey.
She enjoyed vacationing with her cousin Laurie and daughter Emma and spending summer nights on the Delaware River with long time friends Dee and Yaja. She had a love for sports both participating and watching. Her favorite teams included the Steelers, Phillies and the Georgia Bulldogs. She also loved NASCAR and her favorite driver Tony Stewart. She was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley.
She enjoyed working in her yard and on her DIY Projects. She would always help family, friends, neighbors and co-workers when asked. Sadly, she would rarely ask others for help, even in the end when she needed it the most.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, November 16, 2024, 11:00 AM at Fernwood Cemetery, Hopewell Township, NJ.
