Carole Simmerman

Carole Simmerman, age 78, of Edgewater, MD passed away Thursday, March 31st 2022. 

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Reid, Jr. and Annabelle Lounsbury Ballinger.  Carole was a licensed practical nurse employed at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County.  She is survived by her sons, Jesse Simmerman, Jr. of Boston, MA and Reid C. Simmerman of Severna Park, MD; her daughter, Holly Simmerman-Donithan of Edgewater, MD; and three granddaughters.  Carole is predeceased by her husband, Jesse Simmerman, Sr.; brother, James Ballinger; and sister, Bonnie Ballinger. 

Graveside Services will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 6th in the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgroves.
