Betty Wismer

Betty Wismer, aged 100 years, passed away and went to be with her Lord on December 12, 2022 at Merion Gardens, Carneys Point. 

She lived a full and good life working for an insurance company. She had a servant’s heart in faithfully caring for others and in volunteering at the Salem Memorial Hospital which were both very important parts of her life. Born in Germantown, PA, to the late Herbert and Clarise (Symes) Wismer. Predeceased by sisters, Marjorie (Charles) Ridsdale and Phyllis Wismer; brothers, Herbert (Florence) Wismer and Robert (Margaret) Wismer; nephew, Robert (Pat) Wismer and nieces, Marjorie (Dave) Frame and Suzanne (Ken) Porch. Survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and their families.

A Visitation will be Saturday, December 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 76 Market St., Salem, NJ 08079; Service will begin at 2:00PM. Interment at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory would be appreciated and may be sent to Meals on Wheels, Salem County, 457 Shirley Rd., Elmer, NJ 08318.
