Bernard J. Windfelder, age 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly Woodstown, NJ passed away on August 25, 2020 at Christiana Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Laura May Fox Windfelder. He grew up in Philadelphia before moving to South Jersey to raise his family. He was a Veteran of the US Army who served during Vietnam. Bernard spent the last 30 years living in Florida. A carpenter by trade, he taught his family many things, most importantly was “How to Survive”.
He is survived by his children Bernard Windfelder II, Mark R. Windfelder (Paulina), Bernadette Fisher (Michael); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Albert Windfelder (Terry), MaryAnn Kubrak, Maria Urbanek, sister-in-law Barbara Windfelder, brother-in-law Jay Victor Ricardi, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much. Predeceased by his siblings Joseph Windfelder, Charles Windfelder, Edward Windfelder, John Windfelder, Laura Coffea, Jean Greco, and Suzanne Ricardi.
