Andrea “Candy” Greever

Andrea "Candy" Greever, age 68, of Alloway passed away Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at Inspira Medical Center, Mannington, NJ.  

Born in Salem, NJ she was the daughter of the late John H. and Emma Lou Diver Blew.  She was a retired registered nurse at the Gloucester County Surgery Center in Mullica Hill, NJ.  She started her career at Cooper hospital, and worked for Woodstown family practice, Salem Hospital, Elmer Hospital, and Christiana Hospitals.
Candy was an avid Jimmy Buffett fan, she enjoyed cooking, hosting parties  with family and friends, traveling, riding motorcycles, dancing, (was in several competitions in her younger years, even performing on TV shows) & Longwood Gardens. She loved spending time with her family in Ocean City, NJ every year & catching shows in LV.  & Nashville.  She loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her sons, J. Christopher Greever and his wife,
(Rebecca) of Woodstown and Matthew B. Greever of Alloway; brothers, John Brokaw and Bobby Brokaw of TX; Gail Hampton (sister-in-law) & husband Keith of Elsinboro; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Greever (& wife Judith) of PA and Michael Greever of MO, several nieces and nephews, and long time friends Marlene & Wayne Wentzell of Pilesgrove. Candy is predeceased by her husband, Henry Bowen Greever; her sisters, Shirley Vickers and Carol Ulloa.

Arrangements by Woodside Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgove, NJ.
