Sara "Ann" Hunt, age 91, died peacefully on Saturday, April 14th at home with family surrounding her.
Ann was a loving sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was a longtime member of Quinton Baptist Church and was loved by all. Ann worked most of her adult life starting at a sewing factory in Salem, NJ then Heinz as a secretary. She also worked at Hygrade in Pennsville but is best remembered for her 25 years as a secretary at Pennsville Memorial High School. Her cheery personality is remembered by all staff and students that passed her way in those years. She was always a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed camping, knitting, quilting, rubber stamping and watching the Phillies' play ball. Ann is predeceased by her parents, Harlan and Florence Saunderlin Johnson; her baby sister, Barbara Weatherbee; husband, Clarence G. Hunt, Jr.; and son-in-law, Leon Van Horn. She leaves behind her sisters, Marion Pedrick and Pearl Limosino; her daughter, Diane Van Horn; grandson, Ryan Miller, his wife, Robyn Art; great granddaughters, Arletta and Titania; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 21st in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
