Robert E. Moore, age 88, of Alloway passed away Thursday, April 27th at home surrounded by his family. Born in Elmer, he was the son of the late Earl and Helen Keen Moore. Mr. Moore was a US Army veteran. Before his retirement, he was employed by Shimps Hardware in Pennsville as a salesman. Robert was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Woodstown and the Alloway Ruritan. He is survived by his wife, Doris Dilks Moore; his daughter, Linda Morgan of West Chester, PA and Patricia Murphy of Duncanville, TX; his sons, Robert D. Moore of Basking Ridge, NJ and David S. Moore of Freehold, NJ; eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Janice Hill Moore.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 1st in the Asbury United Methodist Church,149 South Main Street, Woodstown where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove. Arrangements by WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, Quinton.
